Marin Academy is thrilled to announce MA Promise, the school's historic commitment to ensuring that the most talented students in the Bay Area have access to an MA education. Beginning with the class of 2023, Marin Academy will be free for all admitted students whose families earn less than $100,000 per year (and have assets typical of this income range). And while a family whose income exceeds $100,000 per year might not qualify for free tuition under MA Promise, the School will continue to meet 100% of demonstrated financial need for ALL admitted families who apply for tuition assistance. Over the last five years, families on the MA Tuition Assistance program have had a median annual income of between $135,000 and $150,000, and have paid a median tuition of $9,800 per year.

Our MissionThe Massachusetts Promise Fellowship at Northeastern University believes that all young people in the Commonwealth have a right to the resources they need to be successful in life, including a caring adult, a safe place, a healthy start, an effective education, and an opportunity to serve. We deliver these 5 promises to youth by training emerging leaders who commit one year of service to support and provide these needed resources to youth throughout the Commonwealth. Each year, we place 40 AmeriCorps Promise Fellows at non-profit organizations, city agencies, and schools across the Commonwealth to lead out-of-school time programming for youth in grades 6-12 focused on mentoring, academic enrichment, and college and career exploration.
