The Tone 2 Firebird worked great with my windows 7 pc running with a dual core processor and 320RAM. I have never experienced any difficulties with this VST and it has always opened right up and worked like it was suppose to. I have never seen a manual for it, but there are some tutorials online in case you need some help getting started. There are also tutorials online on how you can really get into the creation process of creating your own sounds with Tone 2 Firebird. All of the basic functions of Firebird are easily accessible and pretty much right in front of you.SUITABILITY/PERFORMANCETone 2 FireBird worked just like it was suppose to work, flawlessly. I have been using Tone 2 products for years so I knew for a fact that Firebird was going to be good, I have since been using it for about a year now, but I use it a lot.

Almost all of my pop music uses multiple presets from FireBird. This software is very stable and I have not experienced a single crash or glitch in it.OVERALL OPINIONOne thing I like most about it is the filters and all of the effects. There are all types of effects like high pass and low pass, band pass. You will have all of the control over any sound you choose to work with, the arpeggiator is one of the best arps that I have seen in the VST world. It is very easy to get your arps how your want them, and you can arp any preset or sound that you want to arp. You have full control over the timing on the arps too. The quality of the presets are very high, you can use them right away without doing any tweaking if you wanted to.

They will sound great untouched, if you have a little knowledge of how to tweak things then you can get more in depth of how FireBird works and really do some cool stuff with it. You must try this VST. Installing the Tone 2 Firebird was a quick process as it came installed when I installed my Steinberg Cubase SX software. I had no compatibility problems at all as the same manufacturer made both the soft synth and my sequencer. After installing the Cubase SX software the Firebird had already installed itself and was ready for use within a total of minutes. Fl studio 8 xxl producer edition full. The interface of the Firebird may take a little while to figure out but this is only because there is so much to dive into.

It has sections for two different oscillators, as well as a mixer section, a filter section, a chorus/flanger section, an LFO, a filter envelope, and an amplifier envelope. This allows for a ton of control over your tone and if this isn’t enough, there are a ton of different presets that always come in handy.SUITABILITY/PERFORMANCEWhen I was running Cubase SX, as I now use Pro Tools LE I ran it and the Firebird on a Hewlett Packard lap top that has a 3. Processor and 2 GB of RAM. With this set up I never had any problems running this software and while I would only run one at once, I’m assuming that is that amount that most people are using this, as it doesn’t make that much sense to have a bunch of these running at once.

However, I don’t think that you would have too much trouble running a bunch of these soft synths at once as they run smoothly and stably.OVERALL OPINIONI've been using the Firebird for about five years and I've found it to be an overall great sounding software synth. I love the presets that this has and I've used them a lot in addition to all of the different sections that this software offers. While there are some better and cleaner sounding software synths, the cheap price makes the Steinberg A1 a formidable option. Overall, highly recommended to those running a Steinberg sequencer who want a good sounding and cheap soft synth. A gust of freshness to the world of VSTis.Unlike most emulators analog sound which is always the same and can be drawn from a musicalitythat when sounds are drowned in effects, Firebird, he, ringing immediately. The presets are very musical, clear and precise, perfectly usable as is.By touching a little knobs are found very quickly carasteristiques sound that one seeks. It sounds, it sounds, it sounds! In this case it sounds much better than my whicheven if it crushes many of the other hardware synths, pales next to Firebird! Finally, a VSTi for MUSICIANS!

Sorry to revive a comatose topic, but I would really really really like a 64-bit AU version of BiFilter! It was the first Tone2 product I purchased after being greatly impressed by the sound diversity and quality compared to other filter plug-ins, and I have used it in many projects since with great results. Now preparing for an upgrade to Logic X (from Logic Pro 9), so going fully 64-bits - and really having a hard time letting go of BiFilter as my go-to filter plug-in.I tried 32Lives to see if that would allow me to run BiFilter in Logic X, but unfortunately it would not pass AU validation. As I am a very satisfied Tone2 customer and fan, I would hate to have to replace this wonderful, essential plug-in for something else entirely. Please tell me, dear Tone2, is help underway?Logged. Hello Stefkin,a 64 bit version of BiFilter2 is already available for PC.Sadly a 64 bit Mac version would require a complete rewrite of the GUI code and the AU interface. It also won't be downward compatible with the 32 bit version, since Logic handles the 32 and 64 bit versions of plugins as two different plugins. That's why you won't be able to load old 32 bit BiFilter projects with 64 bit Logic. It is possible that we will do a 64 bit version of BiFilter, however i will not promise this.Best Regards,Markus« Last Edit: December 08, 2014, 11:33:55 AM by Markus Krause »Logged.
