Xjr 1300 Manual
I have been looking at a second hand, near mint Yamaha XJR 1300. It is a 2007, first year with fuel injection. Took a test ride and the bike seems fine, but when I returned at the dealership, I noticed that the engine 'surges' or 'hunts' a bit at idle. It rises a bit in rpm for a second or so, falls off and rises again, over and over.I found a recall information and the VIN says it should have a TPS replacement (which I hope has been done). Could a defective TPS cause this? It seems reasonable to me.The other question is if there is a workshop manual for this model? There is an older one for the carburated models, but I really would like to have proper data on the fuel injection system.All feedback is appreciated!
